The South Okanagan has some of the most enjoyable and scenic hiking trails you'll ever find! 🌲✨ If you are in the South Okanagan, you have to try these gems. These trails are not just great for hiking but also perfect for getting to know your new area and enjoying nature!
1. Oliver - Golden Mile Trail: A pretty easy trail that's perfect for a morning hike. Takes you through beautiful vineyards and ends with a stunning view of the valley. Don't forget your camera! 📸
2. Osoyoos - Anarchist Protected Area Loop: Explore this 4.5-km loop trail near Osoyoos 1, British Columbia. Generally considered a challenging route. This trail is great for birding and hiking. The best times to visit this trail are April through September. 🌅
3. Okanagan Falls - 1️⃣ Mahoney Lake Trail: A 5 km trail that takes you through forests and wetlands. 2️⃣ Peach Cliff Loop: A challenging 6 km hike with stunning panoramic views. There a few easier hike paths here as well.
4. Penticton - Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park: For the adventurous! This trail can be a bit challenging for some, but leads to a breathtaking view of Skaha Lake. Rock climbing here is a great option too! 🧗♂️
