Okanagan Falls, BC Homes for Sale & Living in OK Falls
Okanagan Falls, or OK Falls as locals call it, is one of my favourite small communities in the South Okanagan. It sits at the south end of Skaha Lake, between Penticton and Oliver, so you get a quiet village feel with bigger centres within easy reach. The surrounding hills, rock bluffs and lake views give the area a character all its own, and a growing number of local wineries have made it a destination in its own right.
For my clients, especially those downsizing or relocating, OK Falls offers a relaxed pace, outdoor recreation close to home, a friendly community and often more value than nearby larger towns. Browse current Okanagan Falls homes for sale below, or read on to see what living here is like.
What It’s Like to Live in Okanagan Falls
Village living on Skaha Lake. Life in OK Falls centres around the lake. Spend summer days at the beach and park, launch a boat or paddleboard, or enjoy a sunset along the water.
Wine country with fewer crowds. OK Falls has its own wine area, with wineries and tasting rooms set among the hills and benches around the village. It feels more relaxed than the busier wine routes.
Trails and outdoor adventure. Walk or cycle the Kettle Valley Rail Trail along Skaha Lake, explore nearby Vaseux Lake and the surrounding hills, or try the climbing at the bluffs nearby. Golf, hiking and winter skiing are all within a short drive.
A close-knit community. OK Falls is small enough that people know their neighbours, with local cafés, a community centre and events that bring everyone together.
